Thomas A. Edison CTE High School

We're three High School students who think mental health is a constant struggle throughout each school year. We wanted to create a convenient act for easy access to help and to be a safe place for others.

Our Inspiration

We hope that this app helps the user to overcome the fear of reaching out. We want them to know that they are not alone. We understand what it's like to be young adults coming into the real world but want to maintain a healthy headspace.

Love Yourself

Our Project

Our project grants easy access to multiple hotlines and grants a sense of peace and safety to those who are struggling and in need of help.  We add tips and little doable activities to help get those minds at a piece of ease. We are pro-recovery and encourage happiness and the goal always is serenity.

Our Design Process

We wanted to have a color scheme that is calming and minimalistic. To create a safe environment, we went light and easy on the eye colors. We were inspired by the sky, so we took elements relating to it such as rainbows and clouds.

Spot the Difference!

Why don't you play a game while you wait for the hotlines to pick up?

Hearts

Conclusion

As three young women trying to find their place in the world, we want to make the world a little less stressful. Our generation is constantly battling issues mentally and we are aware of how lonely it can be. Our goal is to be mindful of those that want to reach out and to help anyone we can.
